Practical answers for choosing a material, preparing a drawing and requesting a quotation.
Choosing a tape
Which product family should I start with?
Choose custom die cutting for adhesive pieces made to a shape, tarp repair tape for cover and fabric repair enquiries, or copper foil for foil and backing requirements. Describe the application if you are unsure.
What information helps you recommend a material?
Tell us both surfaces, the function of the tape, dimensions, expected conditions and quantity. Photos or a drawing help explain the job. We review the specification with you before quoting.
Can I choose a tape by thickness alone?
Include thickness, but also tell us the substrate, adhesive needs and format. Two materials with the same thickness may serve different applications. Request the specification for the exact product you are considering.
Can you help with an existing tape or part?
Send the existing reference, dimensions and what needs to change. We can discuss a suitable option; any proposed alternative needs a sample evaluation in your own application.
Custom die cutting
Can you make circles, pads and custom outlines?
Yes. Share your outline and dimensions for review. Material, thickness, shape, handling and production format are confirmed together.
What should be included in my drawing?
Show dimensions and units, critical features, required tolerances, material or intended use, and quantity. State whether a dimension applies to the adhesive part, liner or both.
Can parts be supplied on sheets or rolls?
Tell us whether you need separate pieces, sheets or a roll arrangement, and how parts will be picked and applied. The available format and liner arrangement are confirmed with the quotation.
Can I approve a sample before ordering?
A sample request can be discussed before production. We will confirm sample availability, cost, tooling needs and delivery for the proposed part.
Tarp repair tape
What details do you need for a tarp repair enquiry?
Send a photo of the cover and damaged area, the tarp material or coating, repair dimensions, colour preference and working conditions. Include the required roll quantity or total repair area.
Is one repair tape suitable for every cover material?
Please confirm compatibility for the actual cover. PVC-coated tarpaulin, other coated fabrics and different surface finishes should be reviewed separately. Ask for a sample on the material you use.
Is the tape waterproof or UV resistant?
Request the exact specification and supporting information for the selected tape. Exposure, application conditions and the cover itself affect the result. We confirm product-specific claims with your quotation.
How do I prepare for a repair trial?
Review the instructions for the proposed tape, check the condition of the cover and trial it on the actual material. Ask us to confirm preparation, application and service conditions for that specification.
Copper foil tape
Does conductive copper foil always have conductive adhesive?
Do not assume this from the foil alone. Tell us whether electrical contact is needed through the adhesive as well as along the foil, and request confirmation for the exact tape.
Which backing colour should I choose for stained glass?
State the visible backing colour required for your glass and design. Our range includes copper, black and silver backing options; confirm availability for your chosen width.
What information is needed for an electrical application?
Describe the intended function, contact surfaces, required foil width and thickness, adhesive requirements, and any test or resistance requirement. Ask for the specification and evaluate a sample in the assembly.
Can you supply custom widths or die-cut foil parts?
Send the required dimensions, shape, quantity and application. We will review the requested format and confirm what is available.
Quotation, samples & delivery
What is your minimum order quantity?
MOQ depends on the tape, size and custom work required. Send your specification and expected quantity so we can confirm it in the quotation.
What are the price and lead time?
Price and timing depend on material, dimensions, quantity, packaging and any tooling or sampling. We confirm these for the exact order rather than apply one figure to every product.
Can you discuss OEM or ODM requirements?
Yes. Include your specification, packaging or labelling requirements and expected quantity. We review the requested work and confirm the scope before the order.
What should I include for a shipping quotation?
Give the destination country, city, postcode and quantity. Shipping method, cost and trade terms are confirmed in the quotation.
